I was given the color and ratio specs, but it was up to me to figure how to extend Full Time You’s brand with this product shoot.
The above was my first round of exploration. Meg loved the top options which gave me the direction to iterate.
Though paper is always a staple in much of my work, I delight in the times when I can be materially curious. Faux fur, Jell-o, scales, styrofoam all made played their supporting roles quite perfectly.
Capturing this image was pretty straightforward. We did have some retouching to remove the hanging clip on the book and imperfections in the props.
With all the props created, I enjoyed the proverbial playground. What silly things could I with the Jell-o? What about simple movement? I explored and gave Meg some tidbits to play with.
